Job Summary
Jobs at this level are responsible for maintaining and expanding advanced levels of high calibre relationships, formulating short and long-term strategies to engage new industries, Identifying strategic business opportunities, creating market demand through awareness building and consultative sales with senior level authorities and figures and top executives in the private sector in the kingdom. Also, they are responsible for building an optimal client pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiates and manages consultative sales activities within a selected industry vertical of expertise
- Starts and manages strategic business relationships with top-level authorities within the Kingdom
- Provides world-class expertise to STC on a given domain of ICT innovation
- Liaises with ICT vendors in order to develop strategic partnerships
- Identifies, analyses, and pursues smart cities and ICT/ Digitization market opportunities and leads, as well as emerging trends
- Advises government and corporates sales by helping them in tailoring STC bids to the clients’ needs
- Identifies and qualifies top governmental and corporate challenges for STC and proposes how to target those and convert them into opportunities
- Detects and realizes market openings and leads, including smart cities, and handover to Key Accounts after reaching maturity
- Strategically conjoins and involves with other departments during the full business development value chain until deal closure
- Provides input and market feedback to Solutions to develop new ICT/ Digitization concepts and value propositions based on high level expertise in relevant verticals
- Supports “Business Development & Innovation” in due diligence exercises by providing the necessary inputs to build and finalize business cases
Education level
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, IT, Engineering or relevant field.
Years of Experience
At least 10 years of experience working in business development, sales or customer service roles.
