Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance our digital team. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure, and Power BI. The role involves leveraging these technologies to support data analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management and Analysis:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and extraction.
- Utilize SSIS for effective and efficient data integration and migration.
- Implement and manage SSAS for analytical operations, focusing on efficient data modeling and warehousing.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Create dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of BI solutions and reports.
Cloud Data Solutions:
- Leverage Azure services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), for sophisticated cloud-based data integration and transformation.
- Manage and optimize data storage and computations within Azure cloud environments.
Data Modeling and Architecture:
- Apply strong data modeling skills to design and implement effective database structures.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Lead BI projects, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards.
- Actively work with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver appropriate BI solutions.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies.
- Proactively seek ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence role.
- Proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, ADF, Azure, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent data modeling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Extras:
- Experience with TM1 or Board is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science principles.
- Agile methodologies and project management tool experience.
