Founded in 1958, Cambridge Tutors College (CTC London) is an independent sixth form college that places strong emphasis on a holistic learning experience, fostering greater aptitude and a well-rounded character in each and every student that walks through our doors, no matter their nationality, background or faith, by preparing them for higher education and the adult world that lies ahead. Our belief in education is to bring out the best in people in all aspects of life and we help to do this by providing a welcoming and safe environment in which they can thrive.

Set among the parkland of the dynamic area of Croydon, we are located on the edge of London and benefit from an abundance of good transport links in and out of the capital. A pocket of academic excellence, our campus is small but intimate and sits neatly amid the privacy of Park Hill. At its heart, an old English country-house provides a charming and traditionally British setting in which to learn and grow for the students from over 25 different countries.

CTC offers a world-class portfolio of A-Level and GCSE courses and our commitment to our students’ success and welfare is underpinned by a personal approach to our teaching and mentorship, providing an array of bespoke and valuable learning opportunities. Our classroom sizes are an average of six and so we can dedicate the necessary time required to help each individual reach their academic potential. Our unique hands-on, tutorial style includes careful monitoring and treating our students with the maturity and respect that works to encourage, rather than hinder, young adults. It is this very approach that has seen fantastic success year on year, proven both by the legion of happy, confident and well-balanced students that graduate from CTC as well as our long-standing consistency in excellent academic results.

It certainly helps explain why so many succeed in securing places at leading universities. With our expert guidance, students are heavily supported throughout the university application process and are led towards the most appropriate decision when it comes to life’s next chapter. A large majority of CTC students chose to go on to Russell Group Universities, the UK’s top 24 institutions including Oxford and Cambridge, with many opting for Medicine, Bio Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Architecture, Law and Engineering.

Our reputation for exceptional academic standards as well as our warm, convivial atmosphere has spread globally, resulting in the recruitment of 15 to 19 year olds from countries as far as China, Vietnam, Russia and Nigeria as well as many from the UK and Europe too.
