Established in 1995, as a ministry of the Presbyterian Church, Casino Christian School remains strongly committed to its cores values of Knowledge, Grace and Wisdom in the light of the Gospel.

The holistic approach to Christian education at Casino Christian School means that we deliver the best educational outcomes for each student by focusing on the whole person. Through this approach, we equip young people for God-honouring and fulfilling lives. Within the beautiful Richmond Valley, we offer a unique Kindergarten to Year 12, whole-family, schooling opportunity. At Casino Christian School our aim for primary students is to develop a love of learning, with a sense of excitement and joy. We believe that all students are gifted and talented and that students learn best when they are happy and engaged. Our environment fosters a cooperative approach to learning that encourages students’ imagination and creativity.

Primary School is foundational to a students’ life-long educational experience. It underpins their learning into adolescence and adulthood. At Casino Christian School, students do not ‘slip through the gaps’. They are taught with the highest academic standards in an environment which is nurturing and stimulating.

At Casino Christian School we seek to teach all subjects from a Christian perspective, with a varied curriculum of core subjects in Secondary School along with a range of electives which enable students to make more informed decisions about Senior School subject choices.

Current Year 9/10 elective subjects are Music, Visual Arts, Drama, Woodwork, Automotive, Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS), Child Studies, Food Technology, and IPT (Information Processing Technology).

​The professional commitment of our Secondary School staff to a learning environment of community and Christian values is second to none. Teachers are highly invested in their students educationally and emotionally, supporting them in their faith, creating an environment where students and teachers can work closely together. This in turn creates a culture where our students can achieve very strong academic results. The size of our school allows for a diverse range of opportunities while providing an environment of care for each student.

​Wisdom is the practical culmination of knowledge and grace. It is the ability to make good decisions, having a mature understanding about oneself and the world. In the Senior Secondary years (Year 11 and 12) at Casino Christian School, we believe wisdom leads to academic success, personal growth and integrity. This is the key for our senior students as they complete their schooling and move toward future endeavours.

We encourage critical thinking, resilience, leadership and creativity, along with a Christian faith and values in all our students lives.  We also know the importance of multi-faceted education and provide many opportunities in and out of the classroom for Leadership, Sports, Community Service, and Creative and Performing Arts.

Casino Christian School offers an extensive range of senior subjects with new subjects added each year. We also support students who wish to study other electives via Distance Education. All subjects except Mathematics and English are taught in a compressed model. This enables students to focus their learning, strengthen weaknesses and build upon their natural abilities and prior learning. The outstanding results achieved by our alumni demonstrate the effectiveness of this model and our teaching programs.
