"Malone College is a vibrant learning community which places quality education and pupil well being at the heart of all activities. Our aim is for all of our students to achieve their potential and to prepare them to thrive in a rapidly changing world. At the heart of our school are our students. "

Our curriculum and extensive range of extra-curricular activities gives every student the opportunity to flourish, to develop existing talents and to discover new ones. We are committed to excellence and have an unrelenting determination for everyone to succeed. We also encourage and expect all of our pupils to become independent learners and to develop their leadership skills, so they can fully participate in our rich extra-curricular programme.

This gives them a sense of belonging and a pride in our school and in themselves, and helps them fully realise their potential. Developing excellent attitudes to learning in its widest sense and fostering respect, courtesy, consideration and friendship are central to our ethos and our school community. We also have excellent partnerships with parents and our local community and value their contributions. All students are valued and their loyalty and desire to succeed is reflected in the high number of students returning to undertake Post 16 study. We are delighted with our recent academic and pastoral achievements.

Malone College are proud winners of the Derrytrasna Award for outstanding pastoral care in a post primary school during 2015.
