Role Overview

IBTE seeks an exceptional Cybersecurity Instructor with a PhD in Cybersecurity or a closely related field to join our academic team on a part-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to share your expertise with aspiring cybersecurity professionals while contributing to the growth of the program.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-level lectures on cybersecurity, focusing on areas such as ethical hacking, network security, cryptography, and advanced cybersecurity concepts.
Develop and revise course content to ensure it reflects the latest industry standards and academic rigor.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and career aspirations.
Provide timely feedback and evaluations to foster student development.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.

Qualifications

PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
A strong track record of research and publications in cybersecurity.
Practical experience in cybersecurity tools, techniques, and frameworks.
Excellent teaching and communication skills.
Previous teaching experience at the university level is required.

Preferred Skills

Expertise in emerging areas such as AI in cybersecurity, incident response, or advanced cryptographic techniques.
Experience supervising postgraduate research projects.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse learners.
