The David Pank Northern Areas High Achiever Scholarship aims to assist financially disadvantaged high achieving students from Northern Area High Schools to study an undergraduate degree at UniSA. The scholarship is available to students from designated High Schools who are new to higher education and enrolled full time in any UniSA undergraduate degree.
Value: Up to $8,000. Recipients will receive an annual payment of $2,000 made in two instalments of $1,000 after the Study Period 2 and Study Period 5 census dates provided they continue to meet the scholarship criteria and maintain satisfactory academic performance.
Online applications will open through my Scholarships in February each year.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have a ATAR of 80 or above and must be able to demonstrate that the majority of their high school attendance has been at one of the following designated Northern Area High Schools (UNAP): Craigmore High School, Fremont Elizabeth High School, Gawler & District B-12 College, Kaurna Plains High School, Parafield Gardens High School, Para Hills High School, Para West Adult Campus, Paralowie R-12, Salisbury High School, Salisbury East High School, Mark Oliphant College.
Applicants must provide evidence of financial hardship and a supporting statement with their application outlining their career and personal aspirations and how the scholarship will assist them in achieving their goals. Details of financial disadvantage should also be included in the written statement.
Students in receipt of another Pank family scholarship, grant or prize are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
