The faculty here is pretty awesome and highly qualified. DSU is doing wonders in Local competitions and making a name as well in international competitions. During my time as a student there were issues as the University was in its early years but now these issues have pretty much ended. This university has a great state of the art cafeteria. The labs of ME and EE are also state of the art and the equipment is new. The student per equipment ratio is pretty high but is not that big of a deal. The sports activities are also quite alot since a Sports Society is active for well over 1 year. And it's my personal opinion that if you join the ME department you wont regret it as you will have excellent opportunities through the out the 4 years.

For our Microsoft Excel training we hired their labs. we also ordered lunch from their canteen. The experience was very good and I strongly recommend that others should also hire their labs. the professional development centre team is very helpful & all of the staff go out of their way to help.
