Dongyang Mirae University (formerly Dongyang Technical College) is an industrial technical university in Seoul, South Korea.Under the belief that only technology can contribute to the nation's economical development, the University started in 1965 as the Dongyang Technical Senior High School, and a quarter of a century has passed since then. However, the current environmental situation is not friendly to Korean universities. It demands the higher educational institutions to make radical changes. Universities' survival competition will become more intense due to a big reduction of academic population. Also, ‘University Structural Reform' from the government is reestablishing university's function and role, and inducing qualitative improvement. It is the time to overcome the limit of quantitative growth. We should make our own way by specializing the university, developing practical contents for the education, and differentiating education methods.
In Knowledge and Information Based Society of 21st century, occupations appear and perish faster and even faster. I visited for work and the parking system was very good. It is especially comfortable because the school is decorated like a park. Also, the entire school was decorated like a cafe, which was very nice.

It is a junior college located across from Gocheok Dome Stadium in Guro, and has been selected as a semiconductor specialized college in 2024, making it an academic cradle doing its best to nurture talented individuals. Because it is located in Seoul, it has good access to talent and is staffed by caring employees, with a high level of pride in the school. It's close to Anyangcheon Stream, so it's great for a walk, and there's a hospital across the street, so emergency response is possible in a variety of situations.
