The Art Centre is housed in a spacious former residential building with gardens and out buildings in the heart of Jumeirah. It is accessible from the Beach Road and has off-road parking to the front of the building. The Art Centre is within easy walking distance of the Mercato Mall.
DIAC's primary goals are to promote arts in the GCC and Middle Eastern region by exhibiting artists" work, offering a range of professionally taught courses year round, and giving teaching opportunities for qualified professional artists. We are one of the main resources for the public to learn about arts in this region, from local gallery exhibitions, to courses, museums shows and more. Additionally we offer guided tours with curators of galleries and museums, lectures and special workshops.
The Art Centre contains 8 teaching and creativity rooms equipped for purpose as well as specially equipped rooms for painting, pottery, photography, presentations and music.
The rooms are available for hire subject to Art Center scheduled activities.
The Art Centre has an Art Shop managed by Creativa Middle East. Students can find all their needs at the Shop. Discounts are given to members and students alike.
The Centre operates 6 days a week 52 weeks a year (public holidays excepted). Our management team is led by the center manager and support staff who are available to advise and assist you as a member, student or visitor.
