Emergency Specialist Registrar

Job Summary

• Guiding patients and their families through complex treatment decisions.
• Conducting follow up with patients to determine if treatment plan needs to be adjusted.
• Participating in outpatient clinics and daycare clinical duties.
• Counseling couples post premarital screening, pre-prenatal diagnosis and pre-bone marrow transplantation.
• Training of residents and interns.
• Participating in community awareness activities.
• Committing and contributing to quality improvement and accreditation programs.
• Participating in scientific meeting and conferences as necessary and as required.
• Getting involved in committees or forums as necessary.
• Getting involved in research initiatives and publications.
• Serving as a role model and projecting a positive image to patients, visitors and staff.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by line manager

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with recognized Membership/Fellowship/Board or equivalent in Emergency.

Experience

At least three years of experience in Emergency.
