Emmanuel Christian Community School is a place of quality teaching and learning excellence, which honours Christ and prepares students for life. The aim of our school, together with home, church and community, is to train the whole person through instruction, example and experience. We believe this is to be in the light of the teaching of God’s Word through Christ- centred education.

Our Aim of The School As part of the ministry of the Girrawheen Baptist Church, the aim of the School, together with home, Church and community activities, is to train the whole person through instruction, example and experience.  We believe this is to be done in the light of the teaching of God’s Word and with the spiritual maturity and effective membership of the Body of Christ of the ministry team of the School.

Staff at Emmanuel Christian Community School are passionate Christian educators, committed to the ministry of the School. Quality instruction, based on a Christian worldview, is producing healthy academic results and growth in student learning. Our Annual Report reflects exciting progress in student achievement across the academic spectrum. Alongside this, we have a high commitment to promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people. We seek to provide a loving and caring Christian environment.

We are thrilled to have a newly built Primary campus with modern, high quality facilities. Our Secondary campus is experiencing an exciting refurbishment.

This is best illustrated in the flowchart below, with the headship firmly established in Christ with each of the School’s department accountable to the Lord for the fulfilment of its own responsibilities. The diagram shows three particular streams of responsibility – Educational, Administrative and Parent involvement.   In order for the School to achieve its aim, each stream must be fully supportive and u nderstanding of the others.

It is very pleasing that high interest is regularly shown in our school. Prospective parents enquire about places available on a daily basis and these enquiries continue throughout the year for all year levels. These come from local families, families looking to move into the area and also families from much further afield. Through these encounters we gain many positive comments about Emmanuel and information which clearly indicates that our learning environment, programs and Christian practices are held in high regard. All our Staff and students at Emmanuel always strive to be a shining example of Christ who is at the very heart of the school.
