Job Summary
The key purpose of the Engineering Manager is to lead a team of O&M subject matter experts in supporting the delivery of ‘World-Class’ O&M operational standards and procedures, and their implementation across KSA government entities.
Key accountabilities
- Prepare department operating procedure to include organization, roles and responsibilities and processes used to deliver the scope.
- Development of the National O&M Manual, a collection of global best practice technical standards in O&M.
- Work closely with the Client’s partner Consultancy to develop O&M strategy.
- Support the Enablement department with implementation and understanding of the standards across government Entities.
- Provide systems engineering support for the development of the National O&M Manual.
- Develop standardized maintenance plans to ensure long-term sustainability of critical assets and systems associated with the applicable sector.
- Develop standardized Operating procedures across all aspects of O&M.
- Review procedures and processes developed in collaboration with the Client’s partner Consultant.
- Develop a process to ensure contract standardization across the Entity O&M contracts.
What we are looking for in our candidates
- We are looking for candidates from Engineering Consultancy backgound
- Expert in developing SOPs and Engineering Services Manuals, specially O&M or FM Services
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in FM or Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Experience in a Managerial Capacity at a reputable organization
- Must have Middle East/ KSA working experience and
- Willing to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Specific requirements
- Bachelor of Science / Engineering in engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in related field on national / international major initiatives and developments.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Expert in development and implementation of best practice standards and processes.
- Extensive experience of working internationally (preference for Middle East / KSA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable subject matter expertise (and where appropriate accreditation) across the following elements of O&M:
- Maintenance Planning/ Work Control
- Sustainability
- Operating Procedures Development
- Post Maintenance Testing
- Systems Engineering Programming
- Equipment and Tool Control (Measurement and Testing)
- Configuration Management
