Job Summary

Engineering Supervisor at Novotel Dubai Al Barsha (Accor Hotels)
Responsible for supervising daily engineering and maintenance operations to ensure the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with Accor standards. The role includes leading the engineering team, coordinating preventive maintenance, responding to guest and operational issues, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and supporting smooth hotel operations to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Job Description

• Supervise daily engineering operations and lead a team of technicians.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP and HVAC systems.
• Ensure prompt response and resolution of guest room engineering issues (AC, plumbing, electrical, fixtures).
• Monitor and troubleshoot BMS, fire alarm, fire pumps, and life-safety systems.
• Manage maintenance of chillers, pumps, boilers, electrical panels, and plumbing networks.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and technical services.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Civil Defense, DM, DEWA, and SIRA standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure LOTO and PPE compliance.
• Support authority inspections, certifications, and permit renewals.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance logs, and spare-parts inventory.
• Assign tasks, train technicians, and support technical skill development.
• Oversee room maintenance schedules and support guest satisfaction through timely services.
• Assist with CAPEX projects, renovations, and system upgrades for the high-rise building.
• Analyze system performance and recommend energy-saving improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in engineering within hotels, mixed-use towers, or high-rise buildings.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leader role.
• Hands-on experience managing complex systems such as chillers, plant rooms, BMS, fire systems, and elevators.
