Escola Bilingue Pueri Domus - Aclimacao

Opened in 2015, the third Pueri Domus campus in the city of São Paulo was built next to Parque da Aclimação. The school features the same quality and principles that have always been the hallmarks of Pueri Domus.

Pueri Domus offers learning pathways that enable each student to develop multiple skills within a comprehensive education. In Escola Bilingue Pueri Domus, all students go through a combination of a complete International Baccalaureate Diploma program and the rigorous Brazilian curriculum. This offers the combination of skills that builds an educational background that will be carried over to an autonomous and successful career in any higher institution.

Many of the essential skills for the 21st-century mindset, among them relativization and divergent thinking, are strongly stimulated in the context of bilingual acquisition. The integrated language curriculum enables interdisciplinary projects that go beyond the fragmentation of subjects and provide bilingual integration of learning.

Pueri Domus adopts methodologies such as Project-Based Learning, Active Methodology, Play-Based Learning, and Collaborative Learning, as well as Hybrid Teaching and Flipped Classroom, which provide new classroom dynamics and reshape roles: students as active agents, connecting and organizing knowledge, and teachers as curators and supervisors of the process of knowledge investigation and systematization.

CORE (Citizenship, Opportunity, Respect and Empathy) is a program that aims to develop socio-emotional skills in our students, addressing all stages of life rather than only childhood or adolescence. In our view, socio-emotional skills comprise a set of important daily attitudes that help individuals interact positively within the community, inside and outside the school environment.

The CORE program reaffirms the mission of Escola Bilíngue Pueri Domus to educate world citizens capable of dreaming, creating and achieving, integrating the community and the school environment in a holistic learning ecosystem. The development of socio-emotional skills is a long-term process that requires constant and consistent reinforcement.
