Welcome to Evangelical Christian Academy! Founded in 1973, ECA is an international Christian school offering a quality education from 1st grade through 12th grade to students of Christian workers as well as to international and national students.

Evangelical Christian Academy exists to serve families by equipping students in the academic disciplines, challenging them to love God, apply His truth, and care for others. This vision shapes every facet of ECA’s existence. ECA offers a challenging, college-preparatory curriculum in an American-based system. Students at ECA study Bible each year, and a Christian worldview is integrated into every aspect of the curriculum.

ECA offers a challenging, college-preparatory curriculum in an American-based system. Students at ECA study Bible each year, and a Christian worldview is integrated into every aspect of the curriculum. ECA has four core values, which are the foundation for all our interactions, classes, and extra-curricular activities.

Christ-centered

We desire to reflect Christ in our everyday lives, in our classrooms, and in our instruction.

Biblically based

From classes to courses to chapel, our foundation and truth is centered in the Bible, God’s Word.

Academically excellent

As an educational institution, we are committed to preparing students for life and further endeavors by providing well rounded course offerings taught by qualified teachers who instill a love for learning.

Service-driven

As part of our service to God, we want to serve others in our school, in our community, and in the whole world.

The elementary school at ECA is a place where students experience the joy of learning. Highly qualified teachers challenge students, tailoring lessons to meet the varying needs of all students. ESL staff work closely with classroom teachers in the elementary school to meet the special needs of our English-language learners. Students in the elementary school enjoy a wide range of “special” classes: music, art, PE, Spanish, and technology. We invite you to come to our school, walk down our hallway, visit with us, and see what makes the elementary school at ECA such a unique place.

The middle-school program includes grades 6-8 and provides a nurturing environment between elementary and high school. These years are important for establishing good habits and study skills necessary for a successful transition into high school. Classes include the core subjects—math, science, social studies, language arts, and Bible—and form a strong foundation upon which students can build. Middle-schoolers learn in a safe and caring environment with an emphasis on teacher-student mentoring.

ECA offers a rigorous, college-preparatory education, including honors and AP courses. We desire to give our students a solid foundation for life and eternity by providing a Christ-centered curriculum.

Students in grades 9-12 enroll in science, history, math, English, Bible, fine arts, foreign language, and PE. We also offer electives depending upon available staff. Previous electives have included choir, musical theater, personal finance, art, drama, and woodworking. At ECA, high-school students have many opportunities inside and outside the classroom for personal, spiritual, and academic growth. These include leadership programs like Student Council and NHS, mission trips, small-group discipleship, and community service.
