Job Summary
Account sales and retention
- Plan, direct and monitor all Sales activity in the country for the responsible business segment so as to achieve and exceed agreed sales, retention, growth, and profit objectives and maximise financial returns for Mobily
- Present and explain the sales target and the plan to all staff
- Meet or exceed annual sales and profit targets by product line as specified in Mobily’s annual budget
- Develop and maintain long-term profitable relationships with customers
- Research and pursue new sales opportunities exploiting alternative channels – e.g. personal contacts, IT fairs, …
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and potential new customers to increase revenues and optimize the customer experience
- Actively liaise with counterpart in Business Care to ensure a unified customer approach
Solutions development and implementation
Liaise with Partnership Development & Planning to ensure client ecosystem expansion is in line with future accounts needs
Account administration and performance tracking
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and developments in the market place recommending actions and interventions where appropriate
- Monitor work of Large Enterprise sales employees nationally. Provide feedback, participate in recruiting, performance management, career management and personnel development of the affected employees
Strategic account development
- Outline top prospective accounts requiring a targeted approach for penetration
- Develop a comprehensive account penetration plan
- Oversee strategic account acquisition process
Miscellaneous
- Actively liaise with other segment Sales heads, Presales head and Technical Project Management head on resource allocation strategies
- Contribute to the development of the segment sales strategy and business plan – and enforce it
- Optimize work processes to facilitate departmental functioning
- Actively involve with the senior management in all decision making as it relates to Mobily Business – mostly Sales – e.g. strategic initiatives, resource expansion requirements, …
- In cooperation with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Presales, Business Care Account Management) – optimize three dimensional account management approach
- Approve budgeting and segment performance forecasts
- Support Marketing in key strategic initiatives by providing statistics, highlighting opportunities and issues
- Act as a communications interface between the Sales unit and other key departments within Mobily
Education
Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited university
Managerial Responsibilities
- Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and coordinating direct reports performance.
- Set the section’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to the direct reports’ individual goals and objectives.
- Apply individual items of sector’s policies, procedures and processes and ensure adherence and implementation.
- Coordinate with direct reports the performance of their delegated responsibilities.
- Ensure the ongoing development of the section’s employees, and guide the activities of direct reports.
- Oversee the overall performance of direct reports according to communicated KPI’s.
