Job Summary

  • Manage site acquisition of the radio network (roof top/ green field/IBS) sites in order to identify and finalise appropriate locations which complies with the functional / capacity requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of site acquisition functions within Site Implementation and other internal and external departments that are needed for the delivery of department functions.
  • Manage and work closely with service owners and contractors/vendors/Municipalities/Owners to finalise the location and fulfil the necessary contractual obligations
  • Review various site models such as roof tops / green field /RDS/RDV vs. locations and evaluate related requirements such as regulations in order to plan the implementation of the site acquisition.
  • Plan and manage site acquisition of the radio network (roof top/ green field/IBS/Light Pole) sites including selection of models Vs locations, finalising lease agreement/ Baladiah permit, processing payment and all related works starting from sites acquisition  till handover to site implementation.
  • Discuss the site layout changes required by the site owners and specify the details to Site design for implementation in the respective site design perspective.
  • Evaluate and select vendors who will assist in the identification and finalisation of appropriate sites based on the capacity requirements and technical specifications,.
  • Ensure detailed documentation of the site acquisition which includes the lease agreements and permits. Handover all services/sites/documents to Admin/Finance to continually carry out the remaining works/processes.
  • Provide periodic updates / reports on the site acquisition process.
  • Perform other duties as required by the higher levels of supervision.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and coordinating direct reports performance.
  • Set the section’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to the direct reports’ individual goals and objectives.
  • Apply individual items of sector’s policies, procedures and processes and ensure adherence and implementation.
  • Coordinate with direct reports the performance of their delegated responsibilities.
  • Ensure the ongoing development of the section’s employees, and guide the activities of direct reports. Oversee the overall performance of direct reports according to communicated KPI’s.
