Our Fast-Forward Master's Scholarships offer £5,000 to high-performing final-year undergraduates at the University of Greenwich to continue their studies at the university.

The scholarships are available for a broad range of master's degrees for full-time and part-time study.

They are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and are conditional on students achieving a First or Upper-Second Class degree.

The £5,000 award can be claimed as a discount against course fees or as a cash bursary.

How to apply
Our Fast-Forward Master's scholarship is available to our current final-year undergraduates who hold a conditional offer to study a postgraduate course with the university. Apply now.

Conditions

  • If you elect to study part-time, the award is split across two years. The second payment is made subject to satisfactory progress.
  • The Fast-Forward Master's cannot be combined with other fee waivers (e.g. the Alumni and First-Class Honours awards). But scholarship holders can apply for a postgraduate loan towards the cost of study.
  • If you have an undergraduate loan from Student Finance England, please ensure SFE has consent to share your household income assessment with us.
  • If you have funding from Student Finance Services European Team, Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland or the Student Awards Agency for Scotland, we will ask for documents from your funding provider to verify your household income.

Eligibility

To apply, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You are a final-year University of Greenwich home undergraduate student predicted to achieve a First or Upper-Second class degree.
  • Your household income is below £43,000 for the 2019/20 academic year, which you can prove to the university.
  • You must hold a conditional offer to study an eligible master's programme for 2020/21.

About Company

The University of Greenwich has the best of both worlds, with city and country campuses. The Greenwich Campus is on a World Heritage Site on the banks of the River Thames. The university's largest campus is centred on three baroque buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren at the end of the 17th century. The Independent newspaper described it as "more breathtaking than the Versailles of Louis XIV".

The university has recently invested £76 million in the new Stockwell Street building to house the extensive campus library, TV studios, editing suites and academic facilities for a range of disciplines. The Stephen Lawrence Gallery provides a showcase for the work of contemporary artists. Stockwell Street is just a short walk from the university's buildings on the Old Royal Naval College site.

The university bookshop is located in the Mews Building on the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College. The campus also houses the tourist attractions of the Painted Hall and Chapel.

A few minutes' walk from the campus is Cooper Building, which is home to the students' union. Inside, Bar Latitude has bright, modern decor and offers a range of hot and cold food. A pool room and the union shop are also in the building.

The campus also has its own selection of eateries. There are two coffee bars where you can grab a drink or bite to eat between lectures. The undercrofts of the campus have more substantial food on offer, with a restaurant below King William Court and a new café/canteen underneath Queen Mary Court.
