Job Description

• Continuously improve the shared services strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy and objectives
• Oversee the Group’s finance shared services function, ensuring operational efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality across all finance activities
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure financial and operational goals are met
• Manage and optimise core financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate execution
• Ensure that month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Drive process improvements and the implementation of best practices within finance shared services to reduce costs and improve service levels
• Provide monthly financial reports on shared services operations to senior leadership, including variances against budgets, forecasts, and previous periods
• Lead a high-performing team within finance shared services, providing direction, mentorship, and development opportunities
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders across the organisation to ensure shared services meet the needs of various business units and regional requirements
• Serve as a primary point of contact for senior management and business units regarding finance shared services, providing timely updates on key performance metrics, issues, and improvements
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardisation within shared services, driving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Lead the adoption of new technologies and process improvements such as automation/ artificial intelligence to optimize finance functions

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s and Master’s or MBA in Finance and Accounting
• Professional Accounting qualification such as ACA, CA, CPA, CIMA is a MUST
• Experience of leading shared services functions within Global Multinationals is a MUST
• Experience of managing large teams (80+ people) is a MUST
