Job Summary
We are looking for a Financial controller in Bahrain.
- Help establish and implement new accounting and business processes and controls, as well as the identification of improvements around existing processes and controls to increase productivity and create operating efficiencies across the Company, ensuring scalability of operations to support future growth.
- Key contributor in the month-end accounting close process and working cross functionally on the Company’s R&D accruals.
- Ad hoc projects, including implementation of new finance and operations-related systems, and technical accounting research and documentation.
- Assist with the Company’s FP&A process, including preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, as well as establishment of monthly budget versus actual reviews with department/program leaders, highlighting key cost drivers and risks/opportunities.
- Assist Director of Finance/Controller with various operations-related activities, as needed, including accounts payable, payroll and benefits administration.
- Prepare monthly financials in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
