Financial Controller

Job Summary

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Ensure the compliance with IFRS, IAS and tax regulations, and establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles;
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information;
• Coordinate, complete and ensure a clean and timely year end audit;
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation;
• Maintain, implement and develop of a comprehensive manual of accounting SOPs to enhance the workflow of the department and ensure high class accounting system;
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed;
• Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor in Accounting
• CPA / CA / ACCA
• Proven work experience in multi organizations accounting system
• 10 years of overall combined audit and accounting experience
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Constructive knowledge of IFRS and IAS
• Strong analytical and managerial skills
• High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and details & results-orientation
• Promoting process improvement
• Excellent knowledge in MS office (Specially in Excel)
• Fluent in English (Bilingual preferred)
