First Step Nursery

The First Step Nursery is committed to provide a safe and healthy learning environment where each child will be nurtured and introduced to life-long skills. Our aim is to provide a happy, relaxed and safe atmosphere to support development of practical, physical, intellectual and social skills in children by learning through play.

Play serves as a natural way for children to express ideas and feelings as well as to explore and understand the world around them. It helps them to confident, independent, disciplined and responsible. Children will learn to develop respect and care for others under the supervision of our trained staff.

• To provide learning experiences to the child in a concrete form through play situations so that the child becomes an active participant and not a passive recipient in the total learning process.
• To provide a balanced, process oriented programme that fulfills child developmental objectives.
• To nurture development of learning processes like observation, experimentation, problem solving and creativity in children.
• To cater to the promotion of their physical, language and social skills.
• To facilitate individual attention and continuous evaluation of each child.
• To make learning enjoyable for children and develop in them a sustained motivation for school and schooling.

Our Baby care unit is filled with the most pleasant colors, soft toys and cozy cribs to give all babies the best care.

Cribs can be adjusted to help babies to sleep in as well as stand holding on to bars and enjoying their legs strengthening. Floors are padded so as to help them to move around in comfort and safety. Babies from 3months- 1.8 yrs are admitted here.

We believe that our environment plays a vital role in helping the child to have an open mind to explore, learn and grow. We restrict admissions to around 25 kids per classroom having one class coordinator with an assistant teacher and a helper. Colors, pictures, soft toys fill up each of our rooms.

Our teachers create a welcoming classroom, effectively teach preschool curriculum, and shows enthusiasm for your children's education needs with passion and dedication. Our nursery has separate rooms for each age group which allow children to mix with their peers where we provide toys and facilities relevant to their learning and development needs.

For a truly balanced learning experience, our programs include opportunities for kids to develop communication and social skills, gaining friendships and introducing reading, writing, and math readiness skills. Games and activities are more than just fun for preschooler, they also help with physical development and early learning. We provide creative indoor and outdoor activities for your child.
