Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient General Cashier Cum Paymaster to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions and overseeing payroll operations for our organization.
Job Description
- Handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or manage direct deposits
- Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily
- Calculate and process employee deductions, bonuses, and overtime payments
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and payroll regulations
- Generate and analyze financial reports for management
- Assist in preparing documents for internal and external audits
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve payroll processes and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in cashier and payroll roles
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
