Job Summary
Varee Chiangmai International School is seeking a Secondary School Geography and Travel and Tourism Teacher (KS3/KS4/KS5).
The successful candidate should:
- Possess a degree/qualification in Geography with experience in teaching either Travel and Tourism or Business Studies.
- Have a PGCE or equivalent.
- Be able to teach Geography at KS4 and KS3, and Travel and Tourism at KS5.
- Experience in coordinating and managing coursework at IGCSE or A Level is strongly recommended.
- Be able to use technology to track student progress.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess the ability to work with diverse groups of colleagues, students and parents, as well as different cultures. Experience working in a multi-cultural/international school setting considered a bonus.
- Have a flexible attitude as our school grows and develops.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of the staffroom.
- Be willing to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the school.
