The Kindergarten curriculum at Glen Briar Academy was created with the specific aim of providing children with a balanced environment that is both nurturing and challenging. Inquiry and play-based learning guides students through units that integrate and explore all curricular areas in a meaningful, relevant, and dynamic way.
The Primary years are a time to cement learning, to push boundaries and explore new avenues for growth. Our Junior classrooms provide an environment designed to challenge minds and promote innovative thinking. Glen Briar Academy has been the best choice we could have made for our family. The school has an incredible vibe, and the teachers take the time to really get to know your kids. The amount of one-on-one help my children receive every day goes far beyond what we’ve seen at other private schools. My daughter was struggling in public school and had completely lost her confidence. Since starting at Glen Briar, the change in her has been incredible. We deal with heavy traffic to get there every morning, since we don’t live nearby, but we would do it again and again. The school is absolutely worth it. The teachers are amazing. My kids have become more creative, more disciplined, and more curious than I ever expected. They love going to school. The afterschool programs are also excellent, especially the STEM-based add-ons, which have become a must for us. The teachers and principals are approachable and down to earth. They actually listen, and they’ve helped ease a lot of my anxiety as a parent. We also attend the Greek Saturday School at Glen Briar, which is just as well run. If you’re considering this school, you will not regret it.
