The Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science (GSC) is a specialized college of higher education committed to educating men and women for careers in nursing and other health-related fields in the Greater Cincinnati region. Students at GSC are taught through a Learning-Centered Environment. We believe our GSC education provides our student with tools for accessing current information and promoting life-long learning. Our students are actively engaged in the learning process and are responsible for their own learning. The role of our faculty is to support and facilitate the student’s learning by optimizing learning experiences.

Our Simulation Lab is nationally recognized and houses realistic, high-functioning patient simulators and EPIC machines. The lab houses the equipment found in a typical hospital environment including the EPIC medical records system. Students perfect their skills in the 16-bed lab, working with faculty who are highly trained on the simulators that represent hospital populations.

A GSC education is well rounded. Our General Education courses provide a broad base of knowledge that is relevant to all educated persons and is the core of each academic program of the College. This is achieved through an integrated approach to program and curriculum planning. The general education each student receives provides the community with well-rounded, responsible professionals who can function in the rapidly changing world.
