Welcome to Greatfields School which lies within the heart of the Gascoigne community in Barking, East London.
We opened in September 2016 and currently have Years 7-12, with approximately 950 students on roll. Our mission is to provide the young people of this community with a first class education and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to compete with any other child in the country. At Greatfields we place great value on providing our students with a broad and balanced extra-curricular programme.
The enrichment will provide our students with extended learning prospects, a place where they can develop and further their skills, foster new interests and take risks beyond the classroom. Beyond this, it is also a fantastic way to continue to increase our student’s enjoyment of school life and create an inclusive, community spirit within our school.
Our new extended day provides our students the opportunity to be involved in an extra-curricular activity at least once every week for a whole academic year.

What an amazing school. I am very happy with the Greatfield School. Excellent relationship between teachers and students. Also very good advice given to parents at all times. One of the best school in the borough headteacher and teachers are really care about the students future. This school is not 5 stars it's 7 stars school.
