Upon arrival at the vehicle testing center, proceed to the bay and hand over your documentation. There should be no valuables left in the car. The owner should wait while the test is being performed. Most testing centers have testing rooms and screens where owners can see their car being tested.

Classic Vehicles
Classic vehicles are those over 30 years old. They can be driven in Dubai if it meets the requirements of the Automobile and Touring Club UAE (ATCUAE) and the RTA. Thus, even classic cars must pass a technical vehicle inspection and be registered yearly. The vehicle testing is done by the ATCUAE Technical Center.
