Job Summary

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Teacher Librarian to take on this full time permanent position. While this position has leadership of library services across the Prep to Year 12 environment the successful applicants work will be focussed in the Senior School Resource Centre. The successful applicants will be able to:

• Work cooperatively with teachers, parents and other members of the Redeemer community;
• Support the Christian Ethos of the College;
• Provide excellent pastoral care to students;
• Be registered to teach in Queensland.
• Have a strong working knowledge in areas of pedagogy, curriculum and assessment;

Your response should address the following selection criteria:

• SC.1: Teacher Librarian experience in both Senior and Junior Resource Centres;
• SC.2: Ability to provide support to teachers and educational programs P-12 with experience in integrating learning technologies particularly in a Senior School context;
• SC.3: Experience with Library staff leadership and management of resources;
• SC.4: Willingness to support the Christian ethos of the college and the co-curricular program of the college.
