Hillwood College is one of the well recognized private girls’ schools in Sri Lanka. Most of our students enter school at pre-school and continue to complete Advanced Level. We strive to nurture and develop the child not only academically but also in values of Christian ethos.
Steeped in a rich history and tradition, the school has stood the test of time to complete 120 years of scholastic education to generations of young women. Hillwood College was founded in 1890 under the guidance of Church of England, Zenana Missionary Society. Throughout the years Hillwood has produced many great women who served their country and the people bringing great honour to the school.
Today Hillwood College is able to boast of a student population of around 2000 with an ever growing demand for admissions. We have been blessed with a stimulating blend of well qualified and experienced professional academic staff that impart knowledge as well as inculcate discipline and values in the future generations.
