Holmesglen is one of the largest providers of vocational and higher education in Victoria. Since 1982, we have grown from a delivery of 90 courses to 7,000 students, to a unique multi-sectoral provider offering over 530 courses to more than 50,000 students.

We provide education and training to enable our learners to be work ready, life ready and world ready. We have an integral role in the community supporting social inclusion and cohesion. We work with businesses to develop the workforce of today and tomorrow.

Holmesglen is a leading tertiary provider of the 21st Century, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community. We are recognised for innovation in education and training, applied research, creativity and entrepreneurship. Our open, collaborative and quality-driven culture inspires learners and staff to excel.

Since 2003, we have acquired contemporary Australian artworks from the primary market. Comprised of painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics and works on paper, the collection is an important educational and cultural resource for our community and is displayed throughout our campuses. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the community with greater access to our services and facilities, we have hosted free Art Talks since 2005.

Yet as we embark on our second decade, the Foundation is seeking to deepen its impact and extend its support of Holmesglen. With a continued focus on helping learners engage and succeed in their education, the Foundation has the capacity to dramatically boost the quality of what Holmesglen offers. By creating more scholarships, new facilities, innovative programs and richer student experiences, our learners – and their communities – will reap even greater rewards.

If you’re passionate about social justice, Holmesglen is the place for you. With lots of community engagement opportunities such as fundraising drives, the Youth Foyer Project and the Social Inclusion Initiative, you’ll always have the chance to help others. We understand that you have a life outside of work – and that sometimes the unexpected can happen. That’s why we offer a range of leave entitlements, including bereavement leave, adoption leave, maternity leave, personal carers leave and more. All Holmesglen employees have access to discounted IT products, movie tickets, subscription offers, printing, photocopying, short courses and mobile phone plans. Our campuses provide everything you need at your doorstep, including ATMs, restaurants and cafes, medical centres, child care services, a wellness centre and more.

The reviews made me never want to accept my offer, but I am so glad I did. I have really enjoyed studying at holmesglen - my class is super nice, my teachers are kind and supportive. I would definitely recommend doing a course here. I have learnt so much in such a short time, and have gained so many pathways into the medical field.

Holmesglen Institute has been a game-changer for my son; the dedicated staff and engaging curriculum have sparked his passion for learning and fostered remarkable growth.

I've studied at Holmesglen for the last 3 years. I've found the environment to be extremely supportive and positive. Whilst there is an expectation for independent learning, the tutors and lecturers are more than happy to assist you through your course. I love that the school offers a range of qualifications. I've found that the learning commons is amazing. Always a place to study privately with current IT equipment. All in all, Holmeslgen has been great for me.

A complete and utter shamozzle of a school at the city campus!! Computers and printers that don't work and are not serviced because "it costs too much". City campus teachers in advanced diploma of building course refusing to help students. Basically a money grabbing institution that could not give a rats about you once they have your money!! Just don't even bother!

I was an International student who's first language is English because I am English. I had zero information or help from the international department the entire year I was there and every time I had a query for anything I was told I had to do it through the International department. My complaints grew so much that I eventually got seen to by senior administrators instead. I was doing an outdoor education course which was very fun but the staff were very poor. Reading from power points, unable to answer questions and unwilling to find the answers or help you find the answers. As a mature student I was spoken down to on a regular basis and still am as I'm waiting for my qualification.

Absolutely loving Holmesglen on campus - great experiences so far, great attentive and supportive staff, great campus and surrounds, loved my first day of classes yesterday and orientation last Wednesday too! Can't wait for the upcoming months :) I also have a great team of classmates too.

Useless library computers block most websites, so I can't do research for my classwork. Don't expect to do research on the homesglen computers. Wasting my time.

Worst place to study. They will keep on failing you to fetch extra income because at the end of the day It's all about money. This college has low fees but will fail you to get extra money whereas other Uni's have already high fees. In either ways study gonna cost you heaps of dollars and will ultimately put you in debt.

I have been in Holmesglen since almost 3 years ago. I was happy with my Certificate 3 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Most teachers there were really supportive and helpful with both knowledge and practices. HOWEVER! I am doing my Bachelor of ECT, and I have to say that I am SO disappointed.

As a international student, once you enroll in, NEVER expect any support for your sake. Administration staffs in international center including manager, they just care about their rules, which are not based on any regulations. If you study there, you never get any information about the enrollment condition and tuition fee changes. DO NOT consider this institution unless you have absolutely no choice otherwise you are going to need to take care a lot more things other then studying itself by yourself.
