Every one of our children is unique and special. We are committed to providing an exceptional learning experience for all the children in our Holy Trinity family. We strive to enable our children to acquire the knowledge, skills and characteristics they need to be successful in the wider world. At Holy Trinity, we serve our community with compassion, empathy and kindness in all that we do.

We aim to ensure that all our children have equal access to a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum which provides them with the opportunity to develop their self-esteem, confidence and ability to work together in a safe and stimulating environment.

Children not only flourish academically but also through the creative arts, music and sport. We want our children to demonstrate resilience, confidence, and kindness and live out our Christian Values everywhere they go. Holy Trinity is a vibrant school where our children are challenged to achieve their full potential. They are at the heart of every decision we make.

It is central to our school ethos that we foster and nurture successful relationships with our parents and families. We believe that our children learn best when staff, parents, carers and children work in partnership. We value and actively promote your involvement in your child's education.

A variety of stakeholders, including children, staff, parents and governors, worked together on creating a new mission statement and set of values that represents our school and the direction in which we are travelling together.

Safeguarding at Holy Trinity is considered everyone’s responsibility, and as such our school aims to create the safest environment within which every pupil has the opportunity to be the best they can be.

Holy Trinity recognises the contribution it can make in ensuring that all our children feel that they will be listened to and appropriate action taken. We do this by working in partnership with other agencies and seeking to establish effective working relationships with parents, carers and other colleagues to develop and provide activities and opportunities throughout our curriculum that will help to equip our children with the skills they need.

The aim of our policy is to ensure that our school has effective measures in place to safeguard your children from the potential risk of harm and that the safety and wellbeing of the children are of the highest priority in all aspects of our school's work. Having this policy in place ensures that our school community:

  • Is aware of our responsibility in relation to safeguarding and child protection
  • Knows the procedures that should be followed if there is a cause for concern
  • Knows where to go to find additional information regarding safeguarding
  • Is aware of the key indicators relating to child abuse
  • Fully supports the school's commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
