At Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, students benefit from the continuity of an academically challenging, college preparatory curriculum that spans preschool through 12th grade. Founded and sustained in the Episcopal tradition, the school’s environment reflects the joy and peace of Christian values, with an emphasis on educating the whole child – mind, body and spirit. Students who "Start Here" build a strong foundation of skills and are prepared to "Go Anywhere" – in college, career and life.
We strive to foster spiritual formation in a grace-filled and inclusive manner. That “inclusive manner” is a distinguishing hallmark of the Anglican approach to education over many centuries. We are Christian, our spiritual underpinnings rooted in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the belief that God loves each one of us and desires to be in relationship with us. The Holy Bible informs and guides our experience as a community of faith in regular chapel services and monthly celebrations of the Holy Eucharist. The Episcopal Book of Common Prayer provides the liturgical framework for our worship services.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is a private day school for students in preschool through high school. While all students and faculty attend our school chapel services, we desire that all persons of all denominations, non-Christian faith traditions or of no religious tradition feel embraced, respected and valued. All are invited to participate actively in our worship services. We encourage all who attend or work at Holy Trinity to seek clarity about their own beliefs and religions and to honor those traditions more fully and faithfully in their own lives.
We want everyone at our school to build lives of genuine meaning, purpose and service in the world they will inherit. A spiritual foundation is essential to such a life. Accordingly, we believe we were created to:
To further support our commitment to providing the best in technology education for our students, we provide third through sixth graders with the option to take a coding class one day a week during their P.E. time, in addition to the computer science already included in their curricula. We also offer TEAM (Tigers Excel at Media) classes for our 5th and 6th graders. TEAM skills include mobile application development, computer programming (coding,) keyboarding, 3-D printing, laser cutting, creating digital presentations, and the responsible use of digital media. Sixth graders who choose to participate in the Enrichment Wheel instead of taking Beginner Band may enroll in a Media Class as one of their choices. Here, they learn to create and edit digital images, work with digital audio, and create high-quality video productions.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, a school founded and sustained in the Episcopal tradition, offers an academically challenging curriculum in an environment that reflects the joy and peace of Christian values. We welcome motivated students of average and above average ability who come from any religious, racial, social, or ethnic group. Each student and family is encouraged by competent faculty and staff to participate fully in the spiritual, athletic, artistic, and social life of the academic community. As our students grow to appreciate their value to themselves and to the school community, they will leave Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy with valuable tools for effective learning and living.
The Board of Trustees, students, faculty, staff, and families of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy share the vision of an academic community based on the love of God, self-respect, respect for one’s neighbors, and respect for God’s creation, thus fostering honorable and ethical decision-making throughout the entire community. The Holy Trinity community affirms this commitment by demonstrating a strong work ethic, embracing others’ uniqueness, encouraging a spirit of cooperation and promoting a sense of fair play.
Our experienced and highly qualified administration and faculty create an atmosphere that instills a lifelong love of learning, combining a challenging college-preparatory curriculum with a supportive and nurturing environment. We achieve our prep school promise by combining traditional academic standards with modern approaches to learning, allowing students to gain success and learn the adaptability skills that our frequently changing, technology-based world demands.
Holy Trinity students have all the benefits of accelerated learning without the pressures that often accompany it. Daily Episcopal chapel service, robust offerings in the arts and athletics, as well as extracurricular activities develop and nurture the whole child – mind, body and spirit. They are empowered to reach their fullest potential, while developing a confidence that will endure throughout their lives.
