Our Story

IDRISSI International School was founded in 2015 by parents who wanted to build a school where every child genuinely loves to learn, going beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom. From that heartfelt dream, IDRISSI has grown into one of Malaysia’s most recognised eco-Islamic international schools, proudly holding a five-star rating by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, and serving over 500 students from across the globe. Our growth is a testament to the trust families across Malaysia and the world have placed in us. IDRISSI International School has grown to three campuses across Malaysia, each thoughtfully designed to deliver a world-class Islamic learning experience rooted in values, nature, and global education.

Setia Alam Campus — Where It All Began

The Setia Alam Campus is where the IDRISSI story first began, and it remains the heart and soul of everything we stand for. As Malaysia's first eco-Islamic international school, this campus was built on a parent-led dream — that every child deserves to genuinely love coming to school. Nestled in the safe, green surroundings of Setia Alam, Selangor, it has grown into a full-fledged complex offering a Nature-Based Preschool, Primary and Secondary school, all delivered through the Cambridge International Curriculum and infused with Islamic and eco-values.

Step through the gates and you are welcomed by the scent of fresh plants and the sounds of our lovely farm animals. Students practise composting, tend to pet goats and chickens, and recycle waste materials as a daily tribute to nature. Basketball, futsal and football courts give children the freedom to run and play, while science labs, computer labs and a mini petting zoo bring learning to life beyond the classroom. A warm, family-oriented community defines this campus, where the bond between teachers, students and parents is nurtured and celebrated every single day.

At this school, my children have flourished through the engaging IGCSE curriculum, and the staff are not only knowledgeable but genuinely dedicated to each student's success.

An international school concerned with Islamic values, a wonderful elite of male and female teachers, activities that develop the skills of male and female students, and build a generation useful to the nation, conscious management capable of facing challenges and building a balanced, distinguished generation that is good for itself and good for others.

Idrissi tries to make the lessons interesting with practical examples. Not just theory. We integrate ECO gardening etc into many subjects. Teachers come from many places in the world and bring new personal angles to all subjects. Also not yet Muslims are welcome. Come and have look. You can see that the children are smiling most of the time.

This school is perfect for parents who want their kids to be in Islamic environment. The fees is descent and competitive compared to other international schools. I recommend parents to come here and have a tour in this school !
