Male IGCSE English Teacher

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education major in English Language

Valid MOE Teaching License if Available

2 years experience in UAE preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering lessons: Designing and preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the IGCSE curriculum. This includes selecting appropriate texts, grammar exercises, writing tasks, and other relevant resources.
• Teaching language skills: Teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills to help students develop their overall proficiency in English. This may involve teaching specific strategies for comprehension, vocabulary expansion, grammar rules, and effective communication.
• Exam preparation: Familiarizing students with the IGCSE exam format, content, and requirements. Providing targeted instruction and practice for different exam components, such as reading comprehension, writing tasks, and speaking assessments. Helping students develop effective exam strategies and time management skills.
• Classroom management: Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment. Managing student behavior, promoting mutual respect and inclusivity, and addressing individual learning needs. Encouraging active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking among students.
• Assessing and providing feedback: Evaluating student performance through formative and summative assessments. Providing timely and constructive feedback to students on their assignments, exams, and overall progress. Identifying areas of improvement and offering additional support or enrichment as needed.
