Job Summary

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Sampoerna University invites applications for faculty positions in Industrial Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Sampoerna University (FET-SU) offers an educational experience with relevant curricula designed to prepare our graduates for success in competitive careers in computer science, digital design, and engineering. Our programs have been created to respond to the demand of developing highly skilled professionals in these areas. The laboratory facilities used by our students represent state-of-the-art technology; they are the best in Indonesia and meet international standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Successful candidates are expected to help in establishing a strong and highly visible program of quality research, and be able to teach undergraduate courses in Industrial Engineering. The new hires will serve as key drivers for the study program partnership with our USA partners. They are also expected to play active roles in the teaching and mentoring, student advising, and departmental services. Successful candidates will also participate in outreach programs and contribute to the FET and university services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must have an earned Doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering (Exception will be given to outstanding Master’s degree holders) from a reputable university (graduates from accredited US universities are strongly encouraged to apply).
• Applicants must have demonstrated excellent full or part-time teaching experiences at the university level, and possess excellent spoken and written English skills, classroom management skills, and strong communication and presentation skills.
