International Community School (ICS) is conveniently located in the growing Bangna district of Bangkok, about halfway between the city center and Suvarnabhumi airport. ICS is a private, non-profit Christian school that was first established in 1993. The Bangna campus was built in 2004.
Since its establishment, ICS has maintained a tradition of quality education. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), we offer an American system of education for age 4 through grade 12. As of 2017, ICS has an enrollment of over 1010 students, representing more than 22 different countries. The cultural diversity of our student body contributes to the quality of education enjoyed by our students.
The strength of our school lies in our qualified staff and our commitment to students. The majority of our teachers are recruited from the United States and Canada. Students, families and faculty find ICS to be a caring community where community participation is encouraged. At our school, students are equipped within the classroom to function beyond the classroom.
ICS's academic program is college preparatory and emphasizes community service and AP class enrollment. We presently require 40 hours of personal community service (PCS) as well as additional hours in our Serving-and-Learning-Together (SALT) trips each year. In addition, we offer twelve AP courses and continue to add to our offerings. Class rank for each student is based on a grade point average (GPA) that is weighted and cumulative for grades 9 through 12. The average GPA includes all courses taken at ICS.

Students develop both academic excellence and virtuous character at ICS. ICS students put its values into practice. Each of our students grade 6 through 12 go on a three to four-day Serving-and-Learning-Together (SALT) trip which involves out-reach to meet the needs of communities in Thailand.

The teachers are very kind and nice, and they give everyone a second chance. ICS has many facilities, and provides everyone with an opportunity to try something new or to get involved in some activities. Their study courses are amazing, and students who graduate get in the best universities. ICS participates in many different sports, along with some time to help someone out there by doing community service which benefits our world. I enjoy ICS a lot.

This school is very cozy place and provides an atmosphere that you could learn with effectiveness. This school provides you with varieties of subjects for your child or children to choose. From the great teachers to the enormous soccer field, this school is perfect for children of all kinds!

Moral side is good:The students have very good good manners whether they are Thai or non-Thai. The Christian teaching at weekly chapel is a good moral guide to help instill good values even though we have different religions. Of course all the teachers are practicing Christians, so my kids have good examples.
Academic is good:They win so many awards.

Best school in Bangkok. They offer 3 year old kindergarten to 12th grade. ICS is a college prep school with excellent academics, including around 20 AP offerings, and is a Christian school with a strong community.
