A warm welcome to the International School of Karachi. It is every parent’s wish to find the very best education for their child. At ISK, we aim to make a world-class education affordable and attainable. ISK caters to the diverse needs and interests of its students and ultimately of the community.

Moreover, care is taken to link the curriculum to the local environment whilst maintaining a broader international vision. Our approach is one of life-long learning whereby the school is the basis for sound education and social development from Pre-Nursery to Grade 13. The school provides international research-based professional development for the staff to ensure that they are able to lead and deliver quality learning opportunities that are designed to meet the individual needs and interests of the students.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a sincere thank you to all of our parents, children, teachers and admin staff.

As we say goodbye to another academic year, we also say farewell to our leavers – we wish you all the very best as you embark on your onward journeys. Thank you for all you have contributed during your time at ISK.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon for another successful year at International School of Karachi.

The International School of Karachi was established in 2015 to offer the parents of Karachi a unique curriculum and extra curricular activities. The school follows the National Curriculum of England. It is a known fact that compulsory education in England lasts eleven years, from the age of 5 up to the age of 16.

The original model chosen was that of a British system school and that policy has continued to the present. Children can be admitted in the Nursery class, when they have achieved the age of 2.4 years by 30 August, and continue to take A-Level examinations at age 18.

Pupils take the Pearson's iPrimary exams at the end of Key Stage One (Year 2), Key Stage Two (Year 6), and Key Stage Three (Year 9)

External GCSE and IGCSE exams are taken in Years 10 and 11, and AS/A2-Levels in Year 12 and Year 13.

It is a priority of the school that the students are prepared for, and can transfer to, British, American and International Universities. The curriculum of the school is broad, and appropriate to the multinational and multicultural nature of the pupils. Music, Physical Education, Arts occupy secure places in the programme as well as the more academic subjects. The school is committed to offering appropriate courses at all levels in Information and Communication Technology.

The school is licensed by the Pakistan Ministry of Education and, according to its directive; a programme of Pakistan Studies (History and Geography), Urdu Language and Islamic Studies (for Muslim children) is conducted.

Our vision is to provide an outstanding international education that inspires students to be self-disciplined, internationally minded, independent life-long learners, who are innovative leaders and critical thinkers. This is done within a supportive, safe, sustainable and advanced technological learning focused environment.

We aim to provide from the age of 3 – 18 the best quality education based up on the UK National Curriculum and Pearson specifications.

We share and celebrate the world cultures that make up the school’s international community.
