Established in 1965, The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) has become known as a center of excellence in the world of international education. Amazing school! Everyone is friendly in ISKL. If you have just moved to Kuala Lumpur you must join this school. I have both experienced elementary and middle school over there. The students are kind and if you are new you can ask anyone where to go and they will tell you. The teachers are friendly from both elementary and middle school. If you wont understand anything they will do something for you to understand. The sports at ISKL is amazing. There are many variety of sports which you can choose from. From biking - aquatics. When students join middle school they get laptops which they get to take home and keep for the whole school year. You get all the accessories expect the keyboard cover and the case which you have to buy for yourself. You can stay back in the library and hangout with friends. There are 3 buses in middle school if you have any sport that you need to stay back for or any school work. There is this thing called after school activities which you get to choose. These activities happen after school so you have to stay back on that single day every week. If you are joining the school this year and are going to 7th grade please meet these people. Our daughters attended ISKL from 1999 until they graduated in 2007 and 2009. My wife taught in the primary school from '99 'til 2013. We had a wonderful experience, and the girls received an excellent education. They both found their first years of university in the US to be very easy. ISKL prepared them very well.
