Iram Shaikh

I am Iram Shaikh from Mumbai, India with a bachelor's degree in B.Sc. Biotechnology in 2016. Overall, I have almost six years of work experience in the Education sector. Here, my experience includes both teaching and non-teaching role. Next, with an amiable, radiant, and zealous personality, I enthusiastically and proactively give my all to make a difference in my student's life, taking a step closer to achieving their dreams.

Initially, I provided training to students for IELTS and TOEFL who scored not less than band 7 in IELTS and 118 out of 120 in TOEFL. Later, I accomplished myself in becoming a full-time teacher of English and Biology, teaching students across the world. I have taught students of different levels and groups with different aims and learning motivations (younger students, teenagers, and Adults). It gave me exposure to Indian, American, and British curricula. Conclusively, I became acquainted with the school setting, gaining insights into effective teaching methodology by practicing - IB and CBSE curricula with hands-on practice, integrating interdisciplinary skills.

Furthermore, I am flexible and can do multiple tasks on time productively. Presently, my duties include designing the curriculum (Using PowerPoints), Handling Parents-Teacher meetings, Managing the quality of lesson delivery, and blog writing, recording student progress reports, and evaluating them daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

English is considered one of the universal languages spoken across the globe by many countries. Fluency in this language unlocks numerous opportunities for the individual, whether they desire to work, study abroad, career growth, or travel the world. It is used and spoken widely. Here, I find myself potential enough to make their dreams come true by facilitating their interest in learning English. It could be a daunting task to learn a foreign language without any proper resources or guidance. I want to encourage, motivate, and inspire them that it is simple and easy to learn the language with day-to-day consistency. What could be a better career path where you're focused on assisting potent individuals in achieving their aims and living their dream?
