Kidea Pre-school and Kindergarten believes that Early Childhood Education is a commitment to develop a strong foundation of education that is suitable for the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cognitive characteristics that would maximize the growth and development of a child as a preparation for a higher level of education.
"The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man's intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed. But not only his intelligence; the full totality of his psychic power." (The Absorbent Mind, chapter 3, page 21).
Children will engage themselves in a wide array of materials replicating their ADL (Activities of Daily Living). The materials are arranged from the simplest to the most complicated tasks to give each child the chance to assess and upgrade himself.
The children are not merely learning the nomenclature of plants and animals but also dwell on their classification, parts and life cycles. The children will develop a sense of belonging to the life cycle, creating environment-loving individuals. Children learn to value life, respect living things, recycle and most of all have a healthy life.
The children are exposed to countries and nationalities in all continents; their landmarks, songs, religion, culture and tradition. The children will develop LOVE and PRIDE for one’s country and identity as well as ACCEPT and RESPECT each others differences. Having these children will give us HOPE to achieve WORLD PEACE.
