Kindergarten Teacher

Job Summary

Sacramento Country Day School, the regional leader in PK-12th grade independent school education, seeks a kindergarten teacher to add to our excellent faculty. We are seeking an overtly warm and supportive teacher who is an expert at building a classroom community, who is skilled in teaching reading and math (Readers Workshop and Everyday Math experience is a plus), who enjoys integrating subjects, who engages with parents as partners in their children’s growth and development, who has a sense of humor, who enjoys working with colleagues and is a team player, who loves to develop curriculum, and who can meet the needs of a wide range of learners. Responsive Classroom training is a plus.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Teaching credential
• At least three years of lead teaching experience
