King's Christian College

King's is a Christian school. We were founded by a group of parents from the King's Church and our Christian ethos is woven through everything that we do. We operate from three campuses in South East Queensland. Our Reedy Creek campus on the Gold Coat was established in 1980 and offers Kindy and Pre Prep as well as Primary and Secondary schooling, plus a Trade Training Centre on the same campus.

Our Pimpama campus opened in 2015 in the fast-growing northern Gold Coast region. This campus offers Kindy, Pre Prep, Primary School and High School (currently Year 7 and 8). King's newest campus at Logan Village, 40km south of Brisbane, opened in 2020, with Kindy, Pre Prep and Primary School (currently Prep to Year 3).

Our philosophy is to work in partnership with our parents in the education of their children. Our goal is to lay the foundations that allow all students the opportunity to achieve their potential in whatever area of endeavour their goals lie. We have a reputation of being one of the best schools on the Gold Coast with our students regularly achieving academic results above state and national averages as well as achieving excellence in sport and the arts.

King’s Christian Education Ltd is a separately incorporated entity charged with the operation of King’s Christian College. The College is a Ministry of the King’s Church and is governed by a board of directors appointed by the church to promote the ongoing welfare and direction of the school. A strength of King’s has been the stability of our Board over the years. This has enabled the vision of our founders to provide a strong, vibrant Christian School to be carried through unchanged to the present day.

At King's, we place emphasis on selecting staff who have a commitment to please God in their own character and also have a passion to help young people succeed. Our aim is to complement the role of parents, by providing a school environment that is safe, considerate and encouraging. It is our experience that when this is achieved, success will automatically follow. Over the years, King's students have done remarkably well in all areas of school endeavours. Academic, cultural and sporting accomplishments have far exceeded what would be considered as normal for the State of Queensland.

Not everyone, however, can be a star performer. Nevertheless, each person can grow to become an honourable person of good character. This is the vision of King's. We believe that each person is unique, endowed with special talents, and able to grow into the person God desires of him/her. King's is a modern school with traditional, proven Christian values. We provide affordable education on the Gold Coast for young people who desire the opportunity to lay the foundations for successful lives.
