We know that the early year for children are the learning years and this learning continues into adulthood. We want children to be life-long learners, to be part of a community of learners, and to grow into adults who can make difference in the world.

We have Developed our own method of delivering care and education to young children- a blend of Montessori principles/philosophy and the best practices of Early Childhood Educations. This combination of approaches provides our children with a framework that is sense of engagement, and the ability to express oneself. This encourages the development of shills that parents have identified as important: reading, math, and creative arts. We also emphasize social skills and respect for others. Dr. Montessori calls this collection of manners "Grace and Courtesy". She and many other childcare professionals have come to believes that there is a high correlation between social behavior and academic behavior.

In toddler Programs, the children continue to be involved in a challenging experiences that support their emerging independence and autonomy. Our teachers provide a carefully prepared environment which is design to promote a sense of personal empowerment and build self-esteem and other-esteem, while offering a range of sensory and congestive experiences which drive neural activity and stimulate brain development. We believe in addition to feeling good about oneself, children need to develop "other-esteem" -to feel the way the other feels-and important, but often neglected, balance to the emphasis in our society towards promoting "self-esteem".

Our environments are authentic Montessori communities. They reflects our commitment to helping children develop skills for life-long learning-concentration, independent thinking, problem solving, and love of learning. Preschool children thrive on challenges and stimulation, are avid explores of their environment, and have a natural enthusiasm for work. With a three year mix, younger children learn by example and older children solidify their knowledge by teaching others. We encourage the development of creativity, problem-solving strategies, independence, and academic skills. With unlimited access to a large variety of Montessori materials, like children's development, proceed from the concrete to the abstract. Friends fulfill the child's development need to feel valued, understood, and accepted by peers. Our Montessori directresses help children to make friends, to be a friend and to resolve the inevitable conflicts positively.
