We are a school that prides itself in getting to know you and your child personally. Our size gives us the advantage of that personal attention you can only find in smaller schools. We invite you to take a tour of our campus and find out what makes The Knox School a great place to learn.

We are a community which fosters a love of learning and an appreciation of both scholastic achievement and achievement in the co-curricular fields. We believe you can always tell a Knox student; they are optimistic, well-spoken and polite. They care for themselves, their friends and their environment. Visit us today and discover it for yourself.

The Knox school has been part of the Knox community for over 35 years. We are old enough to have a proud set of achievements in a relatively young history. These achievements are best exemplified through the successes of our alumni. We build upon the work of those who have preceded us in continuing the development of the school.

We are also young enough not to be hidebound by tradition. We judiciously take the best of our history and traditions and meld them with contemporary attitudes and behaviours to position our students for their futures. We all recognise the cultural and spiritual dimension of each person’s life and relish the diversity that is our community. We commit to the values that bind us into a thriving community.

Mission Statement The Knox School enhances and develops the aspiring mind with a passion for life-long, local and global, discovery and learning. For something to be of value, it must be chosen from amongst alternatives and prized by its owners. Our values have been chosen from amongst others; they are, therefore, prized and are acted upon and modelled by members of our community.

The Knox School values, if demonstrated in day-to-day school life, will model our values for others in our community, be they friends, colleagues, students, staff and parents. Successful modelling of the values will ultimately have a direct impact on others, especially those younger, their feelings and consequent behaviours. It is expected that members of our community will do their best to implement the desired modelling of the values within the total life of the School. We need to be the evolving learners we are trying to inspire our children/students to become.
