1. Weather Rangers Camp by Mad About Education

Extreme weather is reshaping our world, but understanding it is the first step to tackling it. This month, kids will learn about weather patterns and climate through DIY weather experiments like making rain clouds in jars and creating simple weather vanes. They’ll explore Malaysia’s monsoon season and practice forecasting techniques, connecting weather knowledge to real-life impacts like floods and droughts. By learning how weather affects ecosystems, they’ll be inspired to think about solutions for a changing climate.

The objectives of this program are as follows:

• Encourage children to engage, explore, experiment, analyze, and experience the process.
• Encourage children the ability to build and develop their critical thinking skills, where they would need to learn to make decisions and problem solve.
• Encourage children to appreciate and show respect for the environment.

3. Playtime programmes by Camp Beaumont

There is something for everyone to enjoy from the craft-loving 3 year old to the most energetic 12 year old.

Playtime programmes: For 3-4 year olds: Our Playtime programme offers 3-4 year old children a variety of fun and engaging activities in the areas of creative arts, science, physical education and emotional wellbeing in order to get preschool age children on track toward becoming successful students. Playtime is a half day long from 9am to 12:30 noon.

Our early years staff: From the moment children arrive, there’s a smiling friendly face waiting for them. Playtime is managed by an experienced Early Years Manager and our team of Early Years Leaders.

Personal interaction is key and the staff are selected not only for their qualifications but their nature and sensitivity towards younger children. Staff to child ratio of 1:8 is observed at all times.

Please note children must be dry and out of nappies to take part in our Playtime programme.

5. Learning English Winter Camp by EMS Language Centre

Every winter, EMS Language Centre warmly welcomes children from around the world, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan, Korea, China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and beyond. Our Winter Camp brings together a rich variety of multicultural resources, fostering an engaging environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive alongside their international peers and instructors.

For more than 15 years, we’ve proudly offered our Winter Camp program, tailored especially for children aged 6 to 15 years old. Our program blends academic learning with enjoyable cultural activities, providing an immersive 2- or 4-week experience. The academic focus is on mastering the English language in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

6. SPEAK UP & WRITE DOWN Winter Camp by Leaders Academy

Join our Intensive English Learning Program to improve reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension through interactive lessons and real-world practice. Beyond academics, enjoy cultural and leadership development, building confidence, teamwork, and global awareness. Located in safe and exciting Johor Bahru, Malaysia, our camp offers the perfect space to learn, explore, and create lifelong memories.

7. Winter Solstice Adventure Camp by fun4kids

This is a 1 week overnight camp where children get to enjoy the outdoor nature and environment and engage in fun-filled activities that are both educational and life-changing for the children. Following an organized and structured itinerary, this summer camp offers a variety of activities from baking classes to arts and crafts to a huge range of sports activities that children could choose from. This structured schedule is developed to encourage children to be disciplined and to learn boundaries. The main concept behind this long winter solstice camp program is to encourage children to develop independence skills – to be away from the comfort of their home and learn to take care of oneself.

8. Winter Schooling Program by KL INTERNATIONAL KIDS CLUB

Opportunity for young children to attend 4~8 weeks of classes in an international setting where the medium of instruction is English. Children attending KL International Kidsclub’s Winter Program will effortlessly integrate into a full-day program which includes Creative Expression, Early Literacy, Physical Skills and Well-being, Personal and Social Responsibility, Environment and Community awareness, Early Numeracy, Citizenship and Identity.

English as Second Language classes are optional, and are offered as a substitute for some afternoon course/extracurricular activities.Through this short-term schooling program, children can experience a true day-to-day life as international pupils in KL International Kidsclub.
