Swiss International School Dubai (SISD) is an exceptional place to live and learn, where your child will feel included, valued, and inspired to excel. Start your admissions journey today by taking a look at our entry requirements and admissions process.
YOUR JOURNEY TO SISD STARTS HERE
SISD is one of the most diverse international schools in the Middle East, proudly welcoming students from over 100 nationalities. We understand that families often relocate to Dubai throughout the year, which is why we offer admissions year-round - subject to availability in your chosen pathway and Grade.
We accept admissions for students from Pre-K to Grade 12 (ages 3 to 18), with boarding options available for students aged 11 (Grade 6) and above.
STEP 1: GET IN TOUCH
Your journey to SISD starts with getting in touch with our friendly Admissions Team, who will arrange a tour of our spectacular campus. We’re confident that seeing our school in action, and getting a feel for our inclusive international community will give you the best possible insight into the exceptional education we offer.
If you can’t make it to Dubai, we’ll happily schedule a virtual tour or personalised online meeting.
STEP 2: ONLINE APPLICATION
After making an enquiry and taking a tour, you’ll need to complete your child’s online application form. You’ll also need to upload some supporting documents. These include:
STEP 3: ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW
Once we’ve received your form and documents, our Admissions Team will get in touch with your child’s current school to request a confidential teacher recommendation (for applicants joining us in Grade 2 and above only).
We’ll then invite your child to sit an age-appropriate admissions assessment. These assessments take place Monday to Thursday, 9 am-4 pm and Friday 8 am-11 am.
Depending on the grade your child is joining, we may also ask them to an interview. You’ll need to pay a non-refundable application fee of AED 525 before or at the time of the assessment.
STEP 4: OFFER, PAYMENT, AND REGISTRATION
We’ll let you know whether your child has a place, by letter, within five working days of the assessment and/or interview. You’ll need to sign and return the offer letter and pay a registration fee within seven days to secure your place.
