Admission Criteria
- Students will first be interviewed by the appropriate stage principal.
- Students must then pass the placement test to determine the student's academic level and ability to cope with the level at our school.
- The student should supply the school with school certificates for the two previous years duely notified.
- If a student is admitted, he/she must abide by all the school rules and regulations.
The applicant must submit the following documents to the Admissions Department immediately after he/she is notified of his/her provisional acceptance:
- Photocopy of the Family Book with National Registration Number.
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate, authenticated by the Civil Registration Department.
- Three colored passport-sized photographs of the student.
- All his/her records, reports and recommendations from schools previously attended.
- Transfer Certificate from the last school attended, authenticated by the Ministry of Education.
- Valid residence permit and photocopy of passport (in respect to non-Jordanians).
Admissions Requirements
Admission to the school is selective and is based on previous school records, JIS placement tests, a personal interview with the applicant and his/her family, and availability of places.
Admission tests and interviews for all grades are designed to ascertain that the applicant has the skills in Mathematics and in both languages of instruction to allow him/her to cope with the demands of following the National/ International (CP & IGCSE) curriculum and participate in the life of the school.
The school reserves the right to contact an applicant’s previous school(s) and request confidential references. Interviews are the governing factors for admission in the Kindergarten.
In cases where the number of applications exceeds the places available at a given grade level, applicants are placed on a waiting list in order of date of application, with priority set as per the Admissions Department's policies.
Registration
Students wishing to join the school should adhere to the following:

- Each applicant will be given a date for a placement test and interview.
- Parents must fill in the JIS Application Form.
