Policy and Procedure

Applications Period

Applications for P1 to P6 closed on 30 September. Applications received after 30 September will only be considered for admission assessment if a suitable place becomes available.

Applicants who are Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents relocating to Hong Kong may still apply after 30 September. However, admissions are subject to availability of vacancies.

Admissions Tests

Applicants will be required to sit for Admissions Tests conducted by the school. The Admissions Tests comprise written and oral assessments in English Language and Chinese Language (Putonghua) as well as a written test in Mathematics. Our Admissions Team will be in contact regarding a date for the Admissions Tests.

Admissions tests for Primary applicants will be conducted in December.

Applications Period

Applications for P1 to P6 are welcome. The application period is from 1 August to 30 September. Applicants who are Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents relocating to Hong Kong may still apply after 30 September. However, admissions are subject to availability of vacancies.

Application Process

Online applications and hard copy applications are accepted. Please access the online application web page or to download a copy of the application form from online. Please note that once an application has been successfully submitted, it cannot be deferred to another academic year and all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All hard copy application forms soul be duly completed and returned to the, Admission Team,  Singapore International School (Hong Kong), 23 Nam Long Shan Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong

Application forms are to be returned together with the following:

• Admission Report (for primary students only) to be sent by current school directly to SISHK.
• Copies of official transcript of grades/report for the final year from each of the applicant's previous school on his/her performance, conduct and attitude towards learning, if applicable.
• One recent passport-sized photograph which must be pasted on the space provided in the application form.
• A non-refundable application fee. Please submit a crossed cheque payable to "The Singapore International School Foundation Limited" together with the application form.
• A copy of the applicant's birth certificate and/or other official documents which indicates his/her date of birth and parents' information.
• Copies of both parents' identity cards and travel documents (passport) which show their citizenship and signatures.
• A copy of the applicant's proof of citizenship (e.g.passport).

Applicants for the Primary sections will be required to sit for written and oral Admissions Tests conducted by the school in English, Chinese and Mathematics.

Applicants studying in Singapore local schools are required to submit their applications together with their school results for placement purposes. They will not be required to sit for an interview or admissions test, unless decided by the School.

Only complete applications will be processed and considered for admissions. Interviews and admissions tests will be conducted at SISHK.

Upon notification of acceptance, payments for the Personal/Corporate Debenture, Capital Levy and Rntrance Fee (for personal debenture holders) should be sent to the school to secure a place.

Applicants need to re-apply if they wish to be considered for admission in another academic year.
